How to kitten-proof my house? Any advice?

We're getting a kitten in a few weeks, once it starts to eat dry food and everything, and we mostly 'kitty-proofed' our house. But any advice on what i should put away or hide? Wires I know about, glass things within reach of the kitten, sharp knifes (that may be on the counter), different sprays and cleaners, ect. Anything else?

Any advice is appreciated, thanx! How to kitten-proof my house? Any advice?
you've pretty much covered everything.

i was always afraid mine would pick up something small off the floor and chock on it. so i guess just keep your floors clean like you would with a toddler in the house.

Some plants are deadly to a cat, so make sure if any plants in your home are safe. A kitten will play with anything, keep loose string(shoelaces, etc) short and put away, they can get caught in it and be strangled.
Sounds like you got the obvious things covered. Believe me, once your new kitten starts exploring the house, she'll get into something you ';forgot';. It's sort of a wait and see thing.
Don't leave any food out where it might be able to jump to. My cat always eats out of the sink, the trash or any kind of food we leave anywhere she could reach.
