Advice on how to impress during a People to People student ambassadors interview!!! PLEASE!?

Okay, this is my first interview....that determines if I get selected for the program.

I'm really nervous and the advisors said they need students who STAND OUT(in a positive way).

I need some ';impressors'; and ANY suggestions you can give me.

Greatly appreciated to all that help!

I've also done People to People before, and I too was nervous before my interview. Don't stress about it; it's not as bad as you may think. There's only around 8-10 people in the room. Just make sure you be yourself. During the interview they pretty much just ask you the same types of questions that they asked you on the Interview Questionaire included in the application. Keep a smile on your face, and make sure that they know that you're interested in being an ambassador. It's not that big of a deal, even though I know it seems like it is. The best thing to do is to just be yourself, and participate alot. Good luck on being accepted! If you have any questions about any other aspects of the program, feel free to email me! =]Advice on how to impress during a People to People student ambassadors interview!!! PLEASE!?
Confidence is the best way to make a good impression. Before the interview, prep yourself by going through all the reasons your perfect for this program.( Convince your self before you convince them.)Also, keep in mind your body language is VERY important. Keep your arms un-crossed, maintain eye contact, smile when appropriate, and stand up straight. A good way to stand out is to be outgoing. Introduce your self, find ways to add ideas or comments to conversations, and ONLY say positive statements. Nobody likes negativity. Most of all, relax and enjoy yourself. If your having a good time, it will make your interaction that much better. Good luck.
