Well, it depends on what speed you need and what program, hardware that you need. ect..........
the best computer price is HP computer and DELL computer.
You can find some great deals at http://www.dell.com. Most economical way is to assemble it yourself if you can.
rly its dependant on how much u want to spend, and how long it needs to last, pent 4 D and amd-64 will be able to run vista (windows next OS) so will intel's core2 duo (which owns)
next, are you willing to wait for mail in rebates, check ciruit city, best buy, sams club, the internet for prices, and packages, like for an LCD monitor
but if you want cheap you maybe be forced into mail in rebates
does the term price comparing ring a bell??!?
GL
depends on what u want it for Internet and word processing a celeron or sempron will do If you check out Dell.com I've seen them for about $350 for gaming you will need a Pentium 4 or athlon processor if you want to store photos and videos the bigger the hard drive the better nothing under a 200GB or it will fill up quickly. Also if you want to play games don't get one with on-board graphics cards they suck
