I need advice on how not to be scared to give a speech in front of a group of people.?

Prepare by practicing.

Practice in front of a mirror.

Once you're comfortable with that, practice in front of a friend.

When you are giving the actual speech, pick one person in the audience and talk to him/her.

Pretend that person is the friend that you practiced with earlier.

Also pretend that he/she went partially deaf so you will speak loud enough for everyone to hear.I need advice on how not to be scared to give a speech in front of a group of people.?
Know your subject very well is certainly most important, and it helps if the topic is something the audience will want to hear about. Look over their heads at the back of the room, and do make an effort to not read your presentation, look around the room as you talk.I need advice on how not to be scared to give a speech in front of a group of people.?
The toughest audience is your family and friends. Practice several times in front of them. By the time you master it in front of them any other audience will be easier.
Toastmasters. I joined them about 10 years ago, and regularly went to meetings for about 2 years. It helped tremedously. I am still a little nervous, and I will never be a great orator, but it doesnt bother me to speak in front of a group.
Relax. right before you go on, take a deep breath and exhale through your mouth releasing any anxeties you may have. After you do that, just remember that speaking in front of people isnt that serious. They are there to listen to what you have to say, so tell them.
pretend no one is there but dont lose your head
I will say exeprience is the best teacher - your best option is to practice at home either with your family/friends (which is helpful cause they can give you feedback on how u did, bt you need to tell them to take is seriously); or you can do it on your own by pretending to hold a mic, dressed up as if it was the actual speech, and pretend that your bedroom gadgets are your audience.

I know how it feels, just be confident and you will be fine!!!
uhhh pretend theres no one there And do the speech or pretend alll of em Are your friends and ur playing A gAme of mAKin speeches :D
Is this for a class? If so, maybe you could talk to your teacher ahead of time and let them know how you're feeling about giving the presentation. They may allow you to practice with them or something. If not, just use some relaxation techniques. Get plenty of sleep and exercise before you give your speech. Also, take lots of very deep breaths and go into class with confidence. Picture yourself ending your speech feeling like you did excellent.
Practice, practice, and practice. Yes you will still be nervous. But when you practice you will know the material. This will help because if you get in a jam or you mix up your papers you will know how your speech goes.

Good Luck
prepare ur speech well. remember the main points.. when speaking, look at the audience noses.. it will seem like you're looking into their eyes.. but trust me.. much less nervous that way.. learnt that skill in a public speaking workshop few years back..
I recently had to do this and I decided to just get up and pretend that I was the professor. I was still nervous, but no one noticed.
Just take it one step at a time. If your speech is prepared ahead of time, and you're allowed to read from the paper, you have nothing to worry about! There's no need to be nervous, sure its easier said than done, but think about it: all you're doing is reciting something in front of people.

Remember to breathe. Beforehand, take some time to yourself and breathe deeply, focusing on the task at hand. Don't allow yourself to be distracted by people shifting in their seats or coughing. If you can, bring a bottle of water with you. Making a speech with a dry mouth is no easy task, and I'm speaking from experience!

The best thing you can do is to take it slow. Pause every so often and breathe. You'll do just fine!
