I think you've given her plenty of time. A lot of people include instructions in the listing warning that the item will be re-listed after four days with no payment. You may try another firm letter, just in case, but it sounds like you have a typical non-payer on your hands. How to handle an unpaying customer on eBay? Need advice from an eBay seller.?
give her a warning! saying she has to pay when she sees this message if not your relisting the item and giving her negative feedback!
Here's some info from ebay about it, if you haven't seen this yet.

I'd write her another email, be more firm yet courteous about it %26amp; maybe give her 48 hours in case she doesn't check her email too often. Also when you send the email be sure to send it through your mailbox on ebay.
Write something like;
Ms. 'So %26amp; so',
It has been 'XX so many' days since you have won the 'item' that I had up for auction %26amp; you have still not paid 'X amount of $$'.
If you please take the time to pay right now I would appreciate it %26amp; will have your 'item' sent out in the mail first thing tommorrow morning.
I understand that we all can get quite busy. If you can not pay right now, please do so within the next 48 hours (5/3/07 4pm or whenever you send the email) or I will be forced to open an Unpaid Item Dispute against you with EBay.
I hope that you can pay as soon as possible to avoid any conflict %26amp; so you can start enjoying your 'item' right away.
Thank you!
Your name
your seller id
I'd even put a link to the winning auction in here somewhere too.
Oh yea, wait to leave a negative until you hear something back from her. Alot of people leave a negative without trying to resolve the problem %26amp; it can just get too petty.
Also, not everyone who buys/sells knows or realizes what the consequences of not paying or shipping on time ,etc. can lead to. In other words they just don't pay attention or give a hoot.
So go ahead %26amp; give a warning..... just one though, don't waste any more time than necessary over it.
12 days is way more than enough time to pay! Send her another email telling her nicely that if she doesn't pay by the end of the day you will have to file a claim with ebay and leave her negative feedback. Make sure at the end of the day that you do report her if she doesn't pay, then ebay will send her an email telling her to pay. You would be surprised how much this happens. Next time you sell something you can set the listing to not take bids from people if they have -1 feedback and there are a couple of other options also. Hope this helps!
Hi - I am a Powerseller and sell 300+ items a month. Have been selling on eBay since 2003 and have sold 12,000 items worldwide.
If the item is showing up that an unpaid item reminder is due, send it. 7 days is plenty of time for someone to pay. For some reason, people think there is no urgency to pay for items on eBay. Can you go to the mall, commit to buy an item, have the store hold it aside, and tell them you will be back in 10 days to pay for it. Absolutely not. eBay is no different. Sellers want their money.
We have all had it happen (and if you haven't, you will). The buyer doesn't pay. Then you have to eat the listing fees and start over. But, there are steps you can take to minimize unpaid items. (From eBay HELP center.)
Creating and managing your listing
Represent the items you are selling fairly and accurately.
Clearly state your return policy in your listing.
Respond promptly to buyer questions.
Review your buyer's feedback.
Use extra caution with unknown or new buyers and unusual bidding activity
Avoid Nigerian bidders - they have become famous for ';schemes';
Avoiding Unpaid Items
eBay's research has shown that following a few simple tips can significantly reduce the rate of unpaid item
Make it easy for your buyers to pay by offering PayPal. (80% of eBay users have a Paypal account.)
Include detailed shipping and handling information in the item description as well as the shipping details area.
Use eBay's Checkout feature to make it simple for buyers to pay you.
Use Immediate Payments for fixed price listings and listings using the ';Buy It Now'; option.
After the listing ends
Ship with a tracking number and insurance. This can help resolve disputes in cases where a buyer claims to have never received an item or received a broken item.
Maintain records of shipping receipts as proof that the item was shipped.
Keep copies of any proof of your item's authenticity.
Verify payment before shipping items (including holding checks until the checks clear).
Learn to recognize counterfeit cashier鈥檚 schemes.
Only ship items to the verified billing address on the buyer's credit card account (if applicable).
Be proactive in preventing unpaid items, and you will reduce them. Be sure to leave negative feedback for non-payers. If all the sellers do this, we can quickly eliminate non-payers from eBay before they have too many opportunities to inconvenience other sellers.
Good luck-

report her as a unpaid item to ebay they send her a email and usually they pay, if she doesnt offer to second highest bidder that way you cant lose sale,
I think the traditional maximum time frame for eBay payments is two weeks, for transactions within the USA (you didn't mention whether your buyer is outside the US, but I assume she and you are both within the US). The transaction time may be longer for overseas sales. This accounts for bank holidays, wire transfers, currency conversions (where applicable), and plain old forgetfulness. But I think these traditional time frames were put into effect a few years ago, in the days before everyone had Paypal and e-checks. So nowadays, your wait time should be shorter.
If your buyer is in the US, 12 days is really pushing it. Since she responded to your last email, it's obvious that she's paying attention, and she can't use the ';I forgot'; excuse. Send her one more email, stating that she has 24 hours to act. Period. Don't make any threats, like reporting her or whatever; she already knows about that stuff.
Then, stick to your guns. If she hasn't initiated payment within the 24 hours, report her to eBay, and leave Negative Feedback on her profile (have you looked at her current profile? Are there other complaints about nonpayment or late payment?). The worst thing that can happen is you have to relist the item. You'll sell it eventually; if she wanted it, someone else will, too.
I wouldnt even trust in selling her the item, if she has been very unreliable and making the payment, what assures you that her payment is going to clear. I would just relist the item, and write her an email that you have given her more than enough time and if she wants to purchase the item you will have to wait till her payment clears to send her the item purchased.
Report an unpaid item with ebay. They will send her a reminder to pay. If she doesn't respond or pay within 7 days, you are eligible for credit for fees that you incurred.
Tell them you know where they live thanks to Google Earth and your friend ';Bunny'; (who happens to be 6'5 and 350lbs of muscle) will be over in the next few days to collect the debt. Thank you for shopping with me on e-bay, Bunny and I look forward to meeting you real soon!
