How many times have you had to listen to the same good advice before you actually took it?

Doesn't it suck when other people are right about you? Well, it sucked for me.....How many times have you had to listen to the same good advice before you actually took it?
Yea it does suck, but that is how we grow and learn lessons. Other people can see our character defects before we can see our own. As for how many times? As many as it takes for you to learn that your way might not be working for you.How many times have you had to listen to the same good advice before you actually took it?
It doesn't matter how many times it hits your eardrums, it never penetrates until you agree with it.


And that's only when you're deep enough in the soup to figure it out for yourself.


However, since our lives are our own responsibility and we insist on ';freedom,'; that's the going price.
i can dish out the best advice and i always help my friends out by basically giving them a reality check .lol. but i can NEVER seem to take my own advice. even if i know im making the wrong decision.





but at least you learned your lesson. my enitre life ive had to learn lessons the hard way. IT DOES SUCK!
OMG I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it just doesnt sink in the first 100 times they tell you. lol And then they get so say the dreaded ';see, if you would have listened to me you wouldn't be in this mess.'; Oh yeah, it sucks big time :)
With me, it is not necessarily how many times I hear it, but whose lips it comes out of. and yeah, it does suck...especially when you KNEW all along.
Sometimes even when you are 43 like me you dont want to admit someone else is right, they can see what we cannot or either choose not to see
Yup. and then they rub it in your face! SuX!!!
