How hard is it to write a book? I need advice!?

I have written down ideas and have a basic idea. I have been living and working in Asia for years and want to pull stuff together from my blogs and thoughts and make a fictional story. Would you read it?How hard is it to write a book? I need advice!?
Believe me, it is easier to write a book [where neither its length nor its contents, are limitations], than to write a story - which, obviously has constraints about its length and content !

A good story, to be impactful, must have limited characters, and also focus on only one incident or reaction. Since you plan to 'pull stuff together from your blogs and thoughts', these should perhaps be best planned as a volume of several short stories.

...One the other hand, if you plan one long tale of intertwining incidents populated with real-life characters you've known, only then you should think of writing a novel !

Do not ever think of your novel as one 450-page task to complete :

...Since you have already organised your ideas of the basic story-line, begin by picking any one random idea and writing whatever comes to your mind. Then simply lay it aside !

...When next you get the writing itch, pick another one of your ideas, and repeat your earlier modus operandum - until, several writing sessions later, you have covered all the ideas in your list..

...Only now should you arrange what all you wrote in chronological, or sequential order, and then read them for a second time : That is when your subconscious will tell you of (i) how these can be linked, or patched together, into one novel, or (ii) how these would actually have a lot better impact as separate short stories, in just the way you have written !

...After that, you can edit your own work to the required format - or hire some professional editor to handle that (very boring and tiring) part.

Voila ! Your manuscript is now ready to knock at some publisher's doors !

And when [not if !] it gets published, Kitty the Kid will definitely buy a copy and read it from cover to cover ! Promise.

Best of Luck, friend. How hard is it to write a book? I need advice!?
Yes, I would read it. I like the idea of sharing experiences and thoughts.

I think writing isn麓t that hard. Just write what comes up to your mind.
get SOME ONE WITH A DEGREE IN ENGLISH TO HELP YOU OUT!

I WOULD READ IT!

EVER HAVE SOME COLLEGE TIME?

IF NOT YOU SHOULD!

COOL?

OK!
Writing it is a piece of cake.

Getting the thing published is a NIGHTMARE!

I wish you the very best of luck.
Anyone can write a book.

The hard part is getting it published.

You can write a book and have it published so long as you have a few thousand dollards to spend on it; and hope it sells.

If you want a publisher to buy your book, you're going to have to do more than just ';stuff together blogs and thoughts,'; Tolstoy *L*
first...u need a good plot....a good basics of literature....good solid characters...twists...not too draggy....and a little bit of romance or joke in it...that should help...
It's a lot harder to write a book than most people realize. It takes more than just imagination. You have to spend weeks just planning out the plot. In addition, you have to worry about things like continuity of the story, character motivation, etc.

You can't just write down a series of events and call that a story. It would never be published.

As a writer myself (ableit of non-fiction), I might be able to help. If nothing else, I can point you to a few sites on the Internet that can help. You can contact me through my profile.
Its not hard at all you just have to have a good imagination.
NOT VERY DIFFICULT ALL YOU NEED A GOOD IDEA
