How to go about my Disney Trip? (Advice, save money, etc.)?

So I'm going to Disneyland n LA on august 3rd to 4th and I would like to know what are the best things to do there, how expensive it is in the park, and if there is any discounts on ticket and hotel prices. Also which hotel would you recommended to be cheaper because i heard hotels jack up prices around there. Take snacks!! and water bottles! Eat breakfast before you go in and then take snacks and lunch. We usually plan on eating one meal in the park. But they have a pizza place that is not as expenxive as some of the restaraunts. I am going in a week and a half. We are staying at a hotel with a military discount across the street from the park and we get a military discount on tickets on base. if you are close enought to walk to the park then you save 12 dollars a day in parking. Our hotel has a fridge in the room so we are taking food and water with us. . thats a big budget saver is not eating in the park. . but i think the food is great so we do at least one meal!How to go about my Disney Trip? Oh gosh. The food inside the park is not very good at all, and it's very expensive, but if you want to save time, then you should stay in the park. Plan to spend a couple hundred $ on food alone, depending on how many are in your group. I think a hamburger combo is around $10 more or less.


There are no discounts on tickets, trust me, I have looked. You could go on craigs list, and some people offer to get you into the park for a discounted price, but they will usually take you in, and then take the tickets back, (and then you can't use fastpass, or get in %26amp; out of the park).

to save money on lodging dont stay right by the park stay a few miles up or down the road and if you aren't going to be spending a lot of time in the room dont spend a lot of money to stay in a 4 star motel instead stay at a chain motel like motel6,econo lodge,days inn,when you go to park dont eat in the park food not that good and can cost a arm and a leg,instead take a sack lunch or have a tailgate picnic in the parking lot,Disney sells these cups for like 8.00 full of soda,keep the cup for refills around a dollar through out your stay
